Mechanically the game is super fun. It's a shame the difficulty curve is such a mess.
(e.g. you only get access to tutorials *after* the first boss; normal missions are all a breeze while bossfights will make 1st time and causal players sorry for the amoeba that designed them etc)

The Step 3 DLC is the longest by far, and the writing easily lives up to expectations. New Moments tie up loose ends of many stories and arcs from the previous Steps. This expansion really makes the whole Our Life experience feel complete.

Downloading this is a must for everyone on Team Cove. There is no strictly "NSFW" content, instead you get to know Cove and his family a lot better, and the cuteness overload is definitely there for everyone playing on "Crush" level or higher.

The only major letdown was one piece of art in the Late Shift moment ( Cove at the fast food restaurant ) which definitely felt way below the otherwise great Our Life standard.

A few DLC moments really lack content if you are playing on lower affection levels, but chances are if you like to stay on "Indifferent" throughout the whole game, then you are not really among the target audience of this DLC. Other possible reason might be to leave some room for Derek & Baxter DLCs in the future.

Overall this expansion is a surprisingly long, rich, and enjoyable experience. If you like the free base game, it is a great way to support the developer and get a lot of bang for your buck in return.
