Great music! Totally worth the money to support the creator (^_^)

OH MY GOD IT'S SO GOOOOD

I waited wayy to long to write this review, MegaWare really deserves more than just a simple recommend - it's among the best games of this style that I've ever played. The art, music, storylines, details, mood, everything is just on par with or better than some of the best. And it's just a demo (maybe)! As the name would suggest, it's mega af - the storyline, while definitely finite, has twists and turns, and somehow in a short period of time gives each character the spotlight. Like any good visual novel, the game starts out cheery and casual and gradually gets deeper and more complex. More than just a meta visual novel, however, this demo shows a level of refinement and polish that's beyond expectation; instead of trying to actually complete the demo, the creator gleefully used the unfinished aspect of the game and folded it in expertly to the mood and setting of the game throughout. That's not an excuse for a terrible game, however - there's so many little details (characters sweating, reacting, getting knocked over by skipping, the heads shaking in the menu, etc.) that just make the game feel complete. Going beyond the meta, the game explores concepts of metaexistence, providing unique insights in the ending based off what you accomplished throughout the game. There's so much more (positive!) stuff that I wish that I could say, but alas, I stayed up late playing the game.

For a free game, there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't pick this up and spend a few hours of your life on it. Hell, I know where my unemployment checks are going. 10+/10.

P.S. - jokes on you, I saved the files to a usb before the game offed itself.

pls don't tell me that the usb will die too

The overall game is good,
but when you get to tier 6 all your cubes must be tier 5 or else you cannot play I think that that is bs for the game.
