Lo stealth è uno dei miei generi preferiti, nonostante ciò Thief, almeno per me, è stato molto deludente; un gioco che sa praticamente di nulla. Di buono ha un ottimo utilizzo dell'ormai datato UE3, qualche bella panoramica, e un'atmosfera (almeno nella parte grafica) immersiva, ma i pregi finiscono qui.
-Fluidità zero: ogni singola azione è preimpostata, quasi fosse scriptata.
-IA dei nemici imbarazzante e peggior sistema di combattimento mai visto.
-NOIOSO: capisco che thief sia arrivato prima di Dishonored, capisco sia uno stealth da "puristi", ma seguire un percorso da punto A a punto B, continuando a premere E nel frattempo per raccogliere oggetti, e riperterlo fino alla nausea non è divertente. Volete provare a divertirvi facendo un po' di casino? No, no, l'approccio action è altamente penalizzato.
-Storia pessima, speravo almeno in una degna conclusione, un buon finale, e invece ci troviamo il solito finale cliffhanger da due minuti, lasciando tutto in sospeso. Non vorranno mica continuare con un altro capitolo spero.

Perlomeno il capitolo horror è abbastanza riuscito, e mi sono piaciute le sequenze di fuga, che trovo molto cinematiche: come già detto aggiungiamo a ciò la grafica, ma di tutto il resto, per me, si salva poco o nulla.

L'ho preso a 10euro, ma vale la metà.

Although this opinion may not be popular, i'm tempted to consider arkham origins the best one of the trilogy.

The gameplay is obviously similar to the previous titles, but it added some changes i really liked. First, i think it's graphically better, it has a darker atmosphere, nice physx and lighting effects and, at least on my rig, it runs smoother than City. A lot are complaining about the bugs, but so far i had to restart the game only once, unlike city, where i had to restart it twice.

However, what i appreciated the most is the inspiration taken from Nolan's trilogy. Origins depicts a younger batman, a batman filled with anger that shows some pretty brute manners. I think that only origins portrays batman for what he should be: fear, a detterent against criminals, and you'll fell this from the first scenes. Plus, this time, the military Nolan's style suit is just sweet. Never liked the comic ones. It's a pity they didn't add a way to repair it visiting the batcave, considering that we'll come back there several times during the game.

Bought it for 16€, and i'm not regretting it. If it's your first batman, this may be the one for you, it has no backstory and you won't need the previous titles to understand what's going on.

it's a great stealth game, the gameplay constantly changes according to your agmentations. Nice cyberpunk setting, although i'd have liked to see more of it. The story starts really well, but it feels rushed towards the end.
