Compared to the previous game (Kingdom Classic), there aren't many new features here. They could be added as DLC to the base game.

Cons:

- Broken AI
It often happens that we fail because of broken AI because our people don't behave as predicted by the algorithm. For example, I lost the game once because some archers and knights stayed behind, instead of defending the kingdom's border, and I didn't survive a massive creature attack. These are fatal bugs that prevent the game from ending even if we did everything correctly.

- The game is too simple.
Some new stuff has been added, but it's still not enough. Nothing new comes with time. There are no quests, dialogue lines, random encounter, or hidden features in the game. Nothing. It is a wasted potential.

You can easily buy this title for $5 and play at work if someone is bored, but taking into account the repetition of the game, complete lack of control over units and broken AI, I would advise against this title. Losing doesn't hurt too much, but it's just annoying, and repetition quickly gets boring.

The game has a fatal error! If we mark trees to be felled and the workers assigned to that task die before they do this sentence, the other workers will not cut down the trees. Trees cannot be deselected, and the authors suggested save+quit+restart doesn't help, making the game impossible to complete.
This problem has been known since 2016 and has still not been resolved.

Besides it's a fun game, but only for a while. You can buy it for $ 2-4 to play at work or while waiting for the bus in your spare time, but nothing more.

I can't recommend this game for several important reasons.

— The latest patch has completely changed the difficulty level. Now AI is just too wise even on a normal level. AI always knows where you are and does not have to share time to manage units and base, because it does it all at the same time. Often in the mission there is no time for anything but fighting, and controlling units, building adjacent buildings and production, while you constantly have to fend off enemy attacks is annoying.

— Missions are not separate chapters. They play one after the other, and all progress, and all units, buildings and resources move from mission to mission. Do you think this is a big deal? If you're playing for the first time, it's a huge problem because you don't know what to expect. If you don't prepare the answer in the previous mission, you may have a huge problem in the next mission, or even prevent you from completing it.

— The terrain topography is damn annoying! Maps often contain lots of narrow canyons and inlets above the cliffs. On the cliffs, the enemy often has defensive turrets and mortars that strike your units before you even see them. The narrow canyons do not fit many units, which weakens their firepower.

— Units have a huge problem finding the path and move damn slowly.

— EACH mission has a time limit, so you fight not only with AI, but also with interface and how fast you can handle it.
