If you're looking for an authentic "zombie survival" experience, then look no further.

No other zombie survival game that I have played (and I have played many) imbues the same level of depth and emotion as this game does. Threats are all around you, and you will not survive, but the real question is how far will you make it? Thirst, hunger, sleep deprivation, heat, cold, depression, boredom, sickness, infection, and of course: Zombies. The choices you make will determine how long you will last, leading to some difficult decision making. The game does a fantastic job of portraying a zombie apocalypse in all it's horror and darkness.

The zombies are "proper" zombies. That being, slow, shambling, and non-superhuman undead as portrayed in Max Brook's "Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" (The BOOK not the movie!). The threat of infection is real. One scratch is all it takes unless you're lucky. And if you've been bitten, it's game over no matter how much you try and fight it; what's left is how you choose to spend the last few days of you're life. It'll make you think twice before courageously taking on a small horde of zombies with your baseball bat.

Simply by playing the game, you are creating your own story for your character. It's a dynamic world full of zombies and you get to decide what you want to do and what your priorities are. There is lengthy character progression through a skill system, making you're character all the more precious as you invest more time into them. The longer you're alive, the more you'll want to survive.

The game is still in Alpha, so it's considered incomplete by the developers, meaning there are many more features to come.

I can't wait to see what they add to this game as time goes on. It already feels like a complete experience, so anything new they put in can only add to it.

This game is worth every penny. Something that I have a lot of difficulty saying about many other games.
