It has gambling.

After playing a bit on RoR2, I will say that the game is one of the best rouge-like games I ever played.
Mods make the game even better but the stock game is also very good and very immersive, with a really good character "roaster", items are a game changer and some of them can also break the entire game lol.

The developers are really nice and I'd say that it's an enjoyable game that I like to play time to time, with friends it gets even better. I only wish there would be a native compatibility for Linux (but to be honest Proton Experimental makes the game run smooth and without issues, so not a complain at all).

Keep it up devs, love the work <3
