Estranged: Act I is a Half-Life 2 mod that has been developed using the Valve Source Engine. Half-Life 2 is not required to play this game. In Estranged, you play the role of a lone fisherman whose ship crashes during a bad storm. You end up on a mysterious island which seems to be abandon, or so you think. An outbreak of an unknown zombie-like virus has occurred on the island leaving you with very little ways to find help. This horror game will allow you to uncover facts about what has happened as you try and find your way back to the mainland.

I personally have earned every achievement in the game along with completing it. I had a lot of fun earning all the achievements along with playing the game itself. Yes, this is a horror game. I can tell you there are a few parts in the game that are considered jumpscares, small ones though, it all depends on how you view them. Don't worry though, if you're not the type for horror games, I recommend trying Estranged: Act I. You should find that the story in the game is very interesting and that the developers put a lot of effort into making this mod. There are parts where there is a lot of shooting action, but it shouldn't be too hard for anyone. The puzzles in this game are simple to figure out, I did not find one puzzle during my playthrough in which I was stuck on for a while.

Overall, this is the best Half-Life 2 mod I have ever played. This game is like a story book, but instead of reading, you are actually playing it virtually. The developers put a lot of time and effort into creating this game, and I can't wait until they release Estranged: Act II. If you have some free time, try this game! It's free, and it will keep you occupied for a good amount of time, it only took me about 2-3 hours to complete the whole game, but that was because I was taking my time and exploring a lot.

This is the best zombie game ever created. The real-world physics and graphics are amazing too since Valve used their Source Engine to create the game. When you buy the game, it not only has Steam Workshop where you can download addons, textures, and models but it also includes the same campaigns and characters from Left 4 Dead (1) that you can play. The only difference is that it has better graphics.

This is by far the best FPS game I have ever played. Amazing storyline, graphics, models, and characters. On top of that there are zombies. What is a game without zombies?

If you do not have this game, you are not a true gamer. It's that awesome.
