*spoilers below*
I had no expectations coming in to this game. I was there like - oh, another Star Wars game, let's see how they've done... especially when it's a "souls-like" game and it's on sale! Well that's intriguing!

Let's start with few negatives:

- souls-like type game. You can clearly see from the distance that Respawn was trying to make it a Dark Souls in the Star Wars universe - from similar mechanics to bonfire-esque checkpoints... but that's the end of it. If you are a fan of DS and wants to play this game for the difficulty... go away. I played on the hardest difficulty and the truth is - only the last boss was the one that I had trouble with;
- mechanics. And mostly - animations. A lot of those are awful - from jedi trying to swing the lightsaber too many times to dodges that do nada to on many occasions not being able to block. What I would say is - that's the most difficult thing in this game - to understand the mechanics;
- AI. I've played many many games, from Witcher to Borderlands to Bioshock. I've never seen this bad AI in my life. What this game's done is that, when they spawn an enemy in a room... THEY CAN'T LEAVE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ROOM. You can leave and they will just stand there like a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
- selection of the planets. Who even thought about having a choice between two planets - Dathomir and Zeffo. I get that the whole story starts on Zeffo, but if I see that on Dathomir there is less chests, secrets, etc. I will go there. This was a nightmare - especially, when it's your first planet AND you discover that mechanics are really really bad.
And all of that.... all of that to then just to have a door closed in front of your eyes to give you a uppercut, because I DON'T HAVE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOUBLE JUMP THAT I RECEIVE CLOSE TO THE END OF THE GAME... Also - the first time you SHOULD go to Dathomir is after you got a double jump. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS CHOICE?
- the limit of what you can or can't do. I will tell you this - in Tomb Raider there are rooms that you cannot open, because you didn't unlock something, because the videogame producers want the players to play even longer their product. That's fair. Fair do's to TR, because those locations happened so rarely, you could've remembered where you had to go back to to unlock a secret. In this game - in almost every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing around you, you can see that oh you can't go there, because:
- you can't push;
- you can't pull;
- you can't dive in the water that's 1 meter deep, because Jedi will forgor how to breathe;
- you can't climb unless you get the claws;
- you can't open different doors, because BD-1 can't do that;
- you can't zipline upwards, because BD-1 doesn't have a rocket-powered turbo engine;
- you can't double-jump.
There's so many locations like this and so many hidden chests that you can't get to or unlock and it's just gets irritating... especially when you can't even teleport to any other "bonfires".
- bugs. Oh baby - there's a lot of bugs... From Cal doing craziness to enemies just standing there.

-/+ bosses. Are the boss fights fun? Of course. Are they well made? No. I will give credit to random headhunters trying to kill you - that's unpredictable and it's fun, when you know that you can fight them only once (because when they kill you they disappear). Every fight against a Sith is a thumbs-up...
I'm not so happy about monster fights. Gorgara is by far the best monster boss to fight, but there is a one big problem. You leave Gorgara about 1/8 of health bar... so it escapes. JUST TO SHOW US THAT WHEN YOU CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN SHE'S FOLLOWING YOU. When I saw that - I was like "huh. I like it! I've never seen that type of fight before". Except, when you realize that... the rest of the fight is just you trying to land on her and click a button. BOOOORING. Especially it's depresing when you click the button and all of a sudden in a cutscene Gorgana hits a mountain and loses some hp... That's some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfaction from "SOULS-LIKE TYPE GAME".
What about other monsters? Imagine you have a mob like a spider that has four different attacks - including one that you can't counter... so the boss is the same spider that is albino (I'm not making this stuff up), with more health, four different attacks AND (watch out!) includes TWO attacks that you can't counter. So original. So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring.

-/+ lightsaber color. It's just a small detail, but when you see at the beginning of the game that your only choices are blue, green and ORANGE... it's pathetic. You had to play for 15 hours to get a purple saber. GREAT.

On the other hand there are some good things:
+ I like the story, although on many many occasions it was pretty predictable what's gonna happen next.
+ I love the design of the planets - good God, it's absolutely beautiful - especially Bogano and Kashyyyk.
+ Puzzles. Not so tough, not to easy - if there is a puzzle in the game usually it's a thumbs-up.
+ YOU CAN HAVE A TWO-SIDED LIGHT SABER THAT YOU CAN TRANSFORM TO TWO DIFFERENT LIGHTSABERS.

Sum up: What do I think about this game? Imagine it's like first 10/15 hours is mostly like the boring Tomb Raider-esque game to get this game going closer to the end. Am I going to go back to the game? No.
I would love to come back and just run around and go to places that I didn't unlock, but this game just bored me out. It's not like Witcher where you just run around and just have fun in the open. It's just not... unless they add teleporting from one bonfire to the other. For now? No, thanks.

Although you can complete the game in 2 hours - it's a very very good one.
Must buy!
