As I see it
It boils down to 12 players rushing to kill a monster and take its bounty. But then some players realized that they will let others do the job, kill them, and take the bounty. So they wait outside patiently.
So I decided to be smart and that I will wait even farther outside, even more patiently. I thought I was going to succeed.
But it turns out there is a bunch of players waiting even more patiently even farther outside!

Update "2.0" a.k.a. 1896
After the update, the already bad menu UI got worse, and now you have to look at and control something designed for a console. The new UI is mainly designed to get you to look at the battle pass. Inventory, the biggest problem before the update, is now less readable, and there are now even more submenus that make the time between game rounds even longer.

The new UI is the worst one I've ever had to use in my life.
Great game otherwise.

One month after the Update "2.0" a.k.a. 1896
The missing updates or patches, which often turn out to be very minimal (at least from what is communicated to us as a community), are simply a disgrace. It almost feels like with every attempt by Crytek to fix a problem, at least two new ones appear.

I can absolutely understand that a game needs to generate profit, and that fixing deeply rooted issues can take a lot of time. However, the fact that, one month after the much-hyped 2.0 update, even basic menu filters don't work properly or get saved is a shame.

Another point of criticism is probably the minimal communication with the community. As players, it often feels like we get a new DLC every 2-4 weeks, but little else changes regarding the game's problems.

I really love the game and hope that the team, or rather the management behind it, stops this rapid downward spiral and turns things around for the better.
