This game is impossibly difficult to survive, even with youtube guides i find myself starving out and dying before a year or so is up. I've been a gamer for 30 years and these types of games are my thing... It's just too difficult.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – A Masterpiece of Historical Immersion

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an absolute triumph in open-world RPG design, building upon its predecessor with breathtaking realism, an expansive world, and an engaging, historically rich narrative. Warhorse Studios has once again delivered an experience that feels as authentic as it is immersive.

A Living, Breathing Medieval World

From the moment you step into the game, the world feels alive. The attention to historical accuracy is unparalleled, with stunning landscapes, detailed towns, and NPCs who go about their daily lives in ways that make the world feel dynamic. Whether you're wandering through a bustling market, exploring a dense forest, or riding across war-torn lands, the level of immersion is staggering.

Quests That Matter

Unlike many RPGs, where side quests feel like filler, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 ensures every quest—big or small—feels meaningful. The variety is impressive, from political intrigue and personal rivalries to thrilling combat missions and complex moral dilemmas. Choices genuinely impact the world around you, making each playthrough unique.

A Deep, Engaging Story

The story remains one of the game’s strongest aspects. Packed with drama, betrayal, and historical authenticity, it captures the struggle of a world in turmoil. The characters are well-written and believable, and the dialogue system allows for deep interactions that shape your journey.

Refined Combat & Progression

The combat system is as realistic as ever, demanding skill and patience rather than button-mashing. Weapon handling, stamina management, and positioning all play a role, making every duel feel intense and rewarding. Character progression is also deeply satisfying, rewarding players for learning and adapting rather than just grinding experience points.

Final Verdict

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an exceptional RPG that takes historical immersion to new heights. With its vast open world, compelling story, and rich quest design, it’s a must-play for fans of deep, narrative-driven experiences. Whether you're a history buff, an RPG enthusiast, or simply looking for an unforgettable adventure, this game delivers in every way.

incredibly short... walking simulator... no combat, just meaningless QTE's that the only one that actually matters is one of the last ones to determine if you get the decent ending or the bad ending. Don't let my playtime fool you, i left it on while at work today, my actual playtime is probably about 5-7 hours. ITS SHORT. Better off just watching a speedrun of it on youtube or something.

Nothing beats sinking a ship and stealing its loot from some screaming 10 year old cursing at you.

They say the game is story rich but it's so bland and unremarkable that I have really lost interest and have forced myself to play the 5 hours i've played thus far... i don't think i'll finish it.. grossly disappointing.

I really loved this game, then they really stuck to their guns with the subscriptions and when I cried out in their discord how foolish it was they gave me 2 warning levels and threatened to ban me. I won't support fascist developers and their staff and a game destined to fail with adding subscriptions when they only have about 1000 or so concurrent players at any given time as is. The game itself is wonderful but sadly it's run by complete idiots for developers and staff.

Great successor to the first iteration. The new building methods are pretty cool, it gives some and it takes some away, love the new mutants/cannibals. It does seem a bit easier to survive and manage the food and water though now.
