Without Ho Chi Minh coming to power in Vietnam, there would be no Vietnam war. Millions of Vietnamese who otherwise died would be alive today. And you can forget about the Korean War and the existence of the North-South divide: Korea would be a united land.

In addition, since the Soviets would have been defeated, they wouldn't have invaded Afghanistan; and if they didn't do that, the CIA wouldn't have funded future terrorist groups. That means 9/11 wouldn't have happened either, and we wouldn't have invaded Iraq. Countless thousands of Muslim and American lives would have spared. No ISIS, no radical Islamic terror.

In addition, since Hitler was a big fan of the British Empire, I am confident that it would have still been around--under much better leadership than that crackpot Churchill, of course! And if Hitler had prevailed, let's say by winning at Stalingrad, perhaps the Americans would have never invaded at Normandy.

With the victory of Germany, perhaps the nuclear holocausts in Hiroshima and Nagasaki would have never occurred. Perhaps the Americans would agree to Hitler's peace. And if that happened, Germany's infrastructure would never have been severed, and all the inmates in the concentration camps would have been spared the horrors of starvation and typhus.

That's millions upon millions of people that would still be alive today, all if Hitler's Germany had won the war. Do you think that would have been a better world? Perhaps let me rephrase the question: do you think that things could possibly be any worse than the direction history took after 1945?

If it took the erasure of my existence in order to set the world back on track, I would surely make that sacrifice for the West to have another chance.
