I wish steam had a mixed review/informational review option. the games current state is rough as expected, co-op is buggy at best and nigh unplayable at worst. all i can say is DO NOT purchase this game for now unless you want to support CM Games in hopefully making a sequel that surpasses ITR1. also side note, if you are able/willing and do purchase the game please go join the Into the radius discord and take a peek through the itr2_bugs section. if you don't see a bug report for a issue your experiencing please report it, it'll help a ton.

!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!! so in the end i fixed the mic issues and it WAS on my end and im just stupid. im still gonna leave this anger review up so people can make fun of my dumb ass. (games still good)

I'm gonna throw this out here right now, the game is fun WHEN IT WORKS. sadly tho it seems like every update the voice recognition changes for the worse. voice recognition in this game has never been "perfect" but recently it has gotten so so much worse for me to the point i cant even play the game anymore (AKA i cant even talk ingame anymore. (yes i have tried EVERY fix in the discord and also have tried seeking help in the discord just to be told its "on my end" even though i never change any setting involving my microphone on my pc)). Besides the horrid mic issues i love everything else about it, although the gameplay upsides get overshadowed by the fact that the game becomes super easy when you dont have to worry about the ghost ever hearing you, and also at the same time becomes impossible to play when you cant use 2 very major items to the game and basically locks out half of the ghosts for me. all in all if the voice chat is fixed this game is a 10/10 but now its a hard 3/10.

you might say to yourself "this game looks like fun i'll pick it up on sale and play it for a few hours" but you wont. this game steals your soul and does not let go, and just when you think it let go it WILL find a way to get you to come back. (good game btw)
