Decent game, grindy but that's the point of f2p nature. People who say "I was banned because I had modified in-game files and I have never even touched my directory!" are full of crap. You get banned because you're too poop to fight against competent players, so you resort to cheating via paying for a cheat sub. (Let's not talk about how most of these 'cheats' are just paid back doors to your PC for cheat makers). Plus, I use sound mods constantly for about 3 years now, and I have not been banned, nor warned about it. Only time I get warned, or punished is because I got too spicy with my trolling, which usually results in a month long chat banned (I'm not a victim, ik what I type). Overall it's not for everyone; don't waste your money if you're not into it, and do not think premiums will "enhance" your experience. They're just money pits if you have no enjoyment while playing War Thunder.

Unpolished due to being rushed out the door to capitalize on the Tarkov "Unheard" Edition mess. Tolerable with friends, but for as of right now as mainly a solo,imo, it is a waste of money. Not to rag on the devs for their hard work, devs and corporate sides have different objectives. Look somewhere else for a milsim, tacticool game such as Ground Branch, which captures the feeling of what Gray Zone is going for, at least thematically. Oh and getting camped at infil and exfils are probably the lamest things to have happened in a long time to me. Don't hate the player tho, hate the game. *Disclaimer, if the infil and exfil camping has been resolved as of this review, then feel free to ignore that part if you wish to read this crappy take.
