Always try to play Saipan, it's the map where the Americans don't have their M1 Garands yet. Their Springfield bolt-actions can't stop a banzai charge.

They call it Sniper Elite, not Submachinegun Elite, leave that for the AIs who can shoot with better accuracy than you. Also if playing co-op, throw rocks to distract your own ally.

10/10 when playing singleplayer because there's no one to wait for.

Blade Symphony is a game of patience and strategy or if you're me, you'll just spam random attacks and hope the enemy walks into it. I somehow made it to Master rank for one day but got shot down quickly back to Steel. When fighting against any rank, it gets scary because you don't know what they'll do. Not everyone just spams Heavy Attacks and hopes for the best, some people charge it and do some crazy charge jump and one-hits me, I cry each time it happens. Then again, it's probably my fault I don't move away. While I do find the game sometimes imbalanced, it's probably because I suck. Anyways, there have been good and bad moments but the game is worth every cent.

Side Note: Most of the community is nice, I once went AFK due to a distraction and pressed sit, my opponent didn't even kill me and just let the game get to a tie.

Went ham and decided to not be a sniper.

Make sure you never lose sight of your allies, because I did once for 5 seconds to point out ammo... my allies vanished and I started to cry ;/

Always carry anti-freeze.
