I'm extremely impressed by the quality of this game's story. I've played way too many games in the Japanese Adventure Game/Visual Novel genre, including all the Ace Attorney games, and this is one of a small handful of games that I think nails grand overarching narrative progression. None of the cases feels out of place. Each of them introduce elements that the game don't "forget about" and eventually get used with new twists. The thought processes you'll be going through at the end of the game will be nothing like the tutorial in the beginning, but the well-tuned buildup of the world's magic system ensures makes you feel like you can always stay on top of things. And this is one of the few games I've played with a romance subplot that doesn't make me actively mad at the game! It could still use a bit of polish, but their customer support has been very responsive to bug and typo reports, with patches fixing things at an alarmingly fast rate. The music doesn't have the banger concentration of the Ace Attorney series, but it at least does its job well. Really good game!

Buy this game if you like waking up at 4am because you've thought of a better way to run through a map.
