Where’s My Battle Pass, Bro?

So, I booted up Path of Exile 2, ready to throw my wallet at the screen for some sweet Battle Pass goodies. But guess what? NO BATTLE PASS. I mean, come on, Grinding Gear Games, it’s 2025! How am I supposed to feel superior to other players without a shiny tier 100 cosmetic cape?

Instead, they hit me with this deep, complex skill tree that looks like my grandma’s knitting project gone rogue. And don’t even get me started on the loot system—I’ve got more items in my inventory than I have life choices to regret.

But hey, the game’s still awesome. The combat’s crunchy, the atmosphere’s darker than my coffee, and the story’s actually interesting (who knew?). Just… where’s my Battle Pass? I need something to grind for besides my sanity.

4/5 stars—would be 5/5 if I could flex on my friends with a neon turbo jet wings. ✨

The 5th? Probably a villain

Very fun and entertaining at the beginning, but it feels almost impossible to climb higher than Diamond with all characters. The game starts to feel like a gamble that depends heavily on luck. You can build the best backpack with the items you get, yet still lose three times in a row to an opponent with just 1 HP. Basically, it has turned into a daily gambling experience for me now.

Tekken 8 Review – Wasted Potential
It’s honestly frustrating to see a game with so much potential being handled this poorly.

First off, the new arenas are locked behind real-money purchases, which is already a bad sign. There’s barely anything worth getting with in-game currency, making it feel like a free-to-play model shoved into a full-priced game. Even The Sims 4 base game (without DLCs) has more clothing options than this. It feels intentionally limited just to push players into spending real money.

Most of the decent skins come and go with the battle pass, and if you miss them, that’s it—you’ll never get them again. The DLC characters are a disaster, overpriced and underwhelming. When it comes to post-launch content, Street Fighter 6 is handling things much better.

Customization is another disappointment. You only get two customization slots, which is ridiculously low for a game that’s supposed to let players express themselves.

At this point, all I can say is… don’t ask me for sh*t.
