I really enjoy this game but I simply cant give it a good recommendation because it is literally unplayable without modding it. I don't mean its not fun or just super buggy, I mean the game literally crashes before you even get to the main menu. Apparently its a camera thing but to fix it, you have to install a mod. If you buy this game and want to be able to play it here is what you have to do:

Make sure the game is closed

Download this mod installer: https://bpr.bo98.uk/ The installer should automatically find where Burnout Paradise Remastered is installed. If not, specify the folder yourself during the installation.

After the installation is done, press Launch, then select and install the "Core bugfixes" mod and install it.

Close the installer, and download this file on your PC: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mf8xB85Squ4IbIEWDLsvkAsShgaILrOO/view?usp=sharing

Go to the folder where the game is installed (Typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BurnoutPR), then open the "mods" folder. Backup the existing core-bugfixes.bprmod file somewhere just in case, then replace it by the file you downloaded off GDrive.

That should fix the crash when opening the pause menu, finishing a race, or starting the game for the first time after the intro.

Great base game the mods and easy to add custom songs just make it better

Fairly short gameplay but I enjoyed it quite a bit. if its on sale I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Okay so I’ve never reviewed a game before so bare with me. To start, THIS GAME WAS RELEASED FOR THE HTC VIVE and only the HTC vive. I was scared when I first started playing because of the countless reviews. But after playing for a full hour straight I realized all those errors were because people are stupid and don’t read. THIS GAME IS NOT RELEASED ON THE OCULUS RIFT! Which makes perfect sense considering the huge lawsuit between zenimax (Bethesda’s parent company) and oculus. SO IF YOU HAVE AN OCULUS DONT BUY THIS GAME IT WONT WORK. This game on my vive however is flawless. Everything about this game is amazing. You really feel immersed in the world of fallout. It’s an amazing reiteration of an amazing game. So IF YOU HAVE A VIVE BUY THIS GAME! It is worth every dollar I can’t wait to spend countless days fully immersed in the world of Fallout 4
