Yakuza 0 is truely the one and only Yakuza game in the series with this extraordinary dumb humor which makes it damn outstanding and addictive for both new and old players.

The story's amazing if you are able to cope with a long plot sequence at the start, the story starts to accelerate later on. P.S. This will help you understand why hundreds of old men with scary faces are trying to obtain a patch of real estate.

I'll be blunt, It's pretty damn good.
The game gives a lot of freedom to the player, there are a number of ways you can accomplish your main missions and the number of characters plus your own allows you to play a variety of different playstyles.

FREEEEEDOM, uh yeah there's a lot of it. Play how you want to. Be a verteran soldier that has had too many wars for her/his lifetime and maim and blow things up or you can just do the missions and not disturb the "peace" that's cool too.

Main point of the game is to kill some corrupt president (I know it's a mayor, president sounds cooler) dude, and to complete questionable tasks. You are allowed complete freedom on how you are going to complete (or fail) them. For example, you have to neutralise a few people, you can either just barge into there and be a brawler person and kill everybody or you can hire some gangsters to do the dirty work for you. Though be careful, everyone has hyper-alien intellect and can identify who hired the gangsters so, yeah keep that in mind.

Each character is mainly different from each other, they each have their own unqiue ability which can assist them in some aspects. For example, the bartender (Probably my favourite character, I swear I don't drink, well in irl) can make some cocktails, which are some syringes or pills you use to make them, this disguises the syringes or pills as some cool drink you made in hospitality class.
Note: You have traits for each character so like the "Drug-a-lug" trait allows you to see what effect each syringe does.
You can then give them to random people (test subjects) or drink it yourself to give you that certain effect after 5 seconds. The practical use of this is to give all the bad guys the bad cocktails and allies and you the good ones.
