I do not recommend this game. ¹The graphics were very good. ²The sound quality was good but the announcer was irritating. ³This was nothing like Modern Warfare 2. Calling this game a remaster is very misleading. I have a few problems with this game.

- Bullet damage should be higher, it takes way too many bullets to kill people.

- Scorestreaks should be more expensive, especially missiles and gunships.

- There should be jumping inaccuracy or cooldown, jumping around like a bunny is meta for some reason.

- Grenades should be restricted in hardpoint, the hardpoint zones are so small a grenade kills everyone at once.

- Controller users shouldn’t play keyboard players, the movement mechanics of a controller are overpowered at least until jumping isn’t meta anymore.

- Team balancing does not exist, sometimes you get stuck alone against a whole team and it doesn’t give you teammates.

- Lobbies should not disband after every game, after every match you go back to searching instead of remaining in the lobby.

- Players should be more visible, it is really hard to see people on tan maps.

- Scope glint and drill charges should have never been put in this game.

- Footstep audio is too loud, you shouldn't hear me coming 100 meters away on a battlefield.

I enjoyed this game. I wish they fixed some of the problems I stated above but it’s not that bad. I do not think this game is worth buying in its current state but it was a beta. I hope they make some serious changes before the final release.

I recommend this game. ¹The achievements are simple and help to showcase unique aspects of the game. I personally had to go back and hunt the last twenty achievements but I enjoyed it. ²The models and textures far exceed the previous game but item movement in relation to the hands of some NPCs can be very bad. Sometimes important items fall through the floor or get stuck in a wall because of an aggressive death. ³The music and audio sound are a lot better than in the last game. The NPCs have idle conversations that I find entertaining and sometimes helpful. ⁴This game is listed as a horror game and a psychological horror game but I disagree. It can’t be a horror game if you are the one creating the horror. ⁵The story is fantastic. You need to play the first Lucius before you play this game to understand the lore.
I like this game a lot. I appreciate that it is truly a sandbox game, unlike the previous Lucius. I think this game is worth buying, especially if you enjoy playing the first Lucius. You can play this game a few times and still be entertained, unlike the original game.

I recommend this game. ¹The achievements are for the most part easy. Two playtime based achievements take longer to get than finish the game. ²The textures and models are pretty bad. I like the blood, fire and magic effects but the water effects are terrible. ³The music and sounds are okay but some characters repeat themselves a lot. ⁴On the store page they brag about graphical quality but the graphics aren’t amazing. I also don’t consider this a horror game but I see why they might think it is. ⁵The story is great. There is almost no pre-game lore but there is a lot of future lore. I found the story very scripted. There is a specific way to finish each level with no deviation from the scripted plot line.
I enjoyed this game a lot. I wish they fixed some of the graphical bugs but it’s not that bad. I think this game is worth buying because it is important to play this game before you play Lucius II and Lucius III.
