It's short, but the effort that went into making it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuts and just bleeds through every boss fight. Good challenge, good bonus content, excellent animation, and I think it's well worth the price to support such an incredible project.

I've been waiting six years for this game. I did a single playthrough and got the best possible ending. Here are my thoughts. I'll try to be as vague as I can to avoid spoilers while still giving general some heads up.

Starting with the general positives...There was obviously heaps of love put into this game. From the visuals to the soundtrack, you can tell there was a ton of thought and work put into everything. Areas are open ended for more adventurous players but never too confusing to navigate. The battle system is pretty good for an RPGMaker game, actually requiring a bit of thought and offering players a multitude of strategies. The game is also surprisingly forgiving. Battles can be restarted when hitting continue, so none of that "reload from last save" nonsense. This game has the uncanny ability of taking your expectations and chucking them aside at a moments notice. I thought I had the game figured out like twice before twists and turns hit me hard. There were several times in my playthrough that I was made genuinely uncomfortable. Other times I could only watch with my jaw-dropped as something totally unexpected and horrifying happened. Bear with it in its cutesy presentation: there are bits of absolute gold in terms of intriguing storytelling and horror.

As for my criticisms, one big one I have is that I have no idea who this game is marketed towards. Look, having played it, this game is NOT for children. Still, whenever you play through the "real life" portions, the world is just so unbelievably juvenile. If I'm not mistaken, the characters are supposed to be high school-aged students (one of which who looks like a grown man). Who... ride razor scooters, steal candy, and talk like children. Characters are often over the top and hard to take seriously outside the main cast. Look, I'm not saying that I expected the game to be dark and gritty at every turn. But it would have been nice if it had been a little more realistic, especially considering the MASSIVE turn toward the end where the content becomes much heavier and more serious. Look, if players are expected to handle themes of depression, self-harm, and suicide, the rest of the game could stand to have a little more realism. Additionally, sometimes the pacing was a little slow. Some missions felt particularly long and tedious (especially the castle one). The ending sequence made me feel like they were REALLY trying hard to hammer home points that I felt had been already established. That might just be me, though.

Overall, I would highly recommend this game. Know that it tackles some very uncomfortable and potentially upsetting themes. One of the better RPGs I've played in recent memory.

It's pretty good. The game has a solid cast of characters and manages to be dark without taking itself too seriously. Gameplay is well thought-out and not too confusing. The atmosphere and OST are fantastic. Highly reccomend this.

This literally fixes everything I didn't like about Pac-Man.

- Fast Gameplay, without being overwhelming.
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-death opportunities are kept to a minimum.
- Great, trippy graphics which are suprisingly not too disorienting most of the time.
- New gameplay mechanics like bombs and new ghosts that spice it up a little.

For ten bucks, it has a TON of replay value. Highly reccomended.

It's offensive! It's depressing! It's violent! It's addictive!
