The last truly great 3D Sonic game

Masterpiece overall, I wish sonic games were still made like this. Overall won't say much here as most of what I say in my Sonic Adventure 2 review relates to both titles.

This was the height of Sonic as a franchise, Sonic Team poured everything into the adventure games and their creativity here is something they are missing now. The Adventure era had a completely different atmosphere and story from modern sonic, even the world they are in is different. The adventure games had beautiful story in a much more believable world, there was character development, unique levels, everything had a purpose. I would have loved to see this naturally progress into modern times without losing what it is but unfortunately due to the failure of the rushed Sonic '06, this dynamic for Sonic was abandoned from 2007 onward. Modern Sonic is just simple and shallow, even Classic Sonic was deeper. Classic Sonic was simple and elegant, with deeper story creatively written into the animations and interactions, Adventure was deep and expansive, Modern Sonic is just a mess. Please Sonic Team if you are reading this, go back to the way you made Sonic games during the adventure days.

Beautiful, I love it. This is the second version of the game I've acquired. When I was younger I didn't understand the game so I put it down during the tutorial, which was definitely a mistake.

People that don't like this game are sus

Edit: I am not changing this back to a positive review until all luck based final rounds are gone. The game is incredibly unfair and victory goes to the lucky player often.The more I play it though, the less I like it. I have no motivation to play, and bringing myself to max out the season even may be tough, luck based loss after loss, little control over character or actions, very steep consequences for dying at one moment, this really is a "game show" and not a true game.

Game is no longer good unless you pay for prime, anyone free to play who plays this game on rare occasion and didn't get to prime is now screwed over, honestly this cashgrab update makes me want to uninstall.

Players are toxic. And the player kicking system enables their toxicity to make the game unplayable to new players. However the game is still fun and I find it unfair to disrecommend it because of one issue.

Terraria's base game was enough already but the experience of getting to mod it is great. There are so many creative mods and teams behind those mods, anything is possible here. TML Team has worked hard to keep this running for almost as long as Re-Logic has maintained the original. And as final testament to their care for the game itself and for us fans, Re-Logic has allied with them to bring it all here, on steam and through Steam. This is the greatest mod loader for any game in history.
