It's a little janky and the tutorial is 2 hours but is you can get over that you'll find an interesting game with a ton of fantastic mechanics. Give it a try if you want something unique.

Its in early access right now and it's a little buggy, but waaaaay less buggy then some AAA games a launch. Just the occasional janky enemy spawn. Nothing game breaking.

GOOD

This has to be one of the most visually striking and mechanically inventive shmups I've ever played. If you have the slightest interest in playing do pick it up. Its very hard but its also pretty forgiving. The worst the game will do is put you at the start of the level when you die, and the levels aren't that long (in a good way).

Also don't close the game unless you've shot one of those save cubes. The game won't remember the last level you did.

Also also if you open the game and are confused, don't worry. Its supposed to look like that.

If you like fast robots and spending lots of time customizing then check this out.

AC6 is an amazingly game and a faithful continuation of the Armored Core series. Do your self a favor and experiment with every part and weapon the game gives you. All the legs parts feel different and their is very little overlap with the weapons. Everything does some a little different.

Also do yourself a favor and don't go in with the mindset that its like FromSoftware's more resent games. This is its own thing.

I wouldn't have a problem with a "Definitive Edition" if it wasn't an unnecessary update that changes a beloved classic.
