I wasn't going to write a review. I was enjoying this game for what it was on the surface, Devil May Quake. If you want a review of that game, reader, look at all these one liner reviews that can be summed up as "buy this game now." And, yes, you should buy this game now. Especially if you enjoyed DOOM, Quake, DMC, or any combination of the three, or just want a plainly satisfying FPS with some insanely fun weapons (looking at you, Marksman. **** that gun is a masterpiece).

Anyways, yes. The *surface* game is worth your money already, reader. But. BUT. I'm not addressing you at the moment. I need to write a sternly worded letter to this developer, because I just played 2-S. And I'm angry with you, developer. I'm angry with you in the way that one can only be angry when you must, begrudgingly, admit defeat. And I can say with certainty that I was, in fact, defeated by 2-S. By the CONCEPT of 2-S. I... I just. Can't fathom what brought you to add such a level to a game such as this. But, you did. And now I'm here. Writing a review I had no plans of writing and speaking in vague terms that only you and I can understand, developer, because the experience was so worth my time and money that I don't want to spoil it for readers, but only wish to add to the suspense of it. The suspense that I'm generating because I'm angry with you, and I'm so angry I want other people to buy this game and play 2-S so they can be angry too. That level was amazing and honestly took this game from a 10/10 to a "I'm going to tell everyone I know about this game even if they don't normally play these kinds of games because that was the best thing I've seen out of a game this year."

So, Hakita, I hope you're proud of yourself. You glorious bastard.
