The atmosphere, the soundscape and the lighting effects are great. The camera angles and character movement also remind me of old school horror survival games like RE1.

The overall story is interesting even if the horror aspect are kinda cheap. I would've loved a bit more creepier / weird scenes where your mind knows something is off. I would love to see that psychological creep factor play out a bit more instead of using jump scares to get the horror across. However, the game is definitely re-playable and I do recommend it if you like these type of games.

The camera in this game is one of the worst I have ever experienced, but if you go with a controller it's less annoyiong but still terrible. Controlling Aiden was easier and better than Jodie. Sadly you can't skip anything. You have to watch the cutscenes, conversations and even the damn credits (which doesn't make me wanna hunt for achievements). Everything else is good imo. The game runs and looks amazing, the story is great and the performances are top notch.

I also wish I could press a button/key to fall asleep too.

This little robot makes me smile whenever he's around. And lets be honest, everyone likes Disney characters, maybe not all of them but at least a few or just someone.

I know this game was supposed to be f2p, but I don't care tbh. I'm used to games having battlepasses and microtransactions etc (doesn't mean you have to buy it). However, I hope they add more characters to the base game (looks like it when you see all the locked/unavailable doors inside the castle) and not only through DLC.
And speaking of DLC. Why can't we travel to one them when we have visitors? Even if the visitor itself owns that DLC. That's one thing I'd love to do. And i would like for the "multiplayer" feature to be in the in-game menu as well or just at the portal itselfs and not make you exit to the main menu everytime you wanna visit someone.

Anyway. I like this game, and i like most of the Disney characters. Just unlucky that I can't really play together with my sister.

As a fan of Marvel/DC and hero shooter games, i really like the game. It's a fun game that has a good mix of casual play but that still has room for high ceiling and tactical plays with a lot of gameplay variety by having a truckload of heroes to choose from. All the team up abilities is a great feature as well.

The art style and graphics in general are awesome, however the optimization is kinda bad for a lot of people. My game starts to lag whenever Doctor Strange use his portal, but it stops when the portal disappears.

I'm not gonna go into the balance of the heroes. However, I think there should be some form of role restrictions, perhaps a "min 1 per role" or "max 3 per role" sort of thing. Most people wanna play duelist (dps), and there is a lack of vanguards (tank) and strategists (support). And I think a contributing factor to why so many wanna play duelist is that a lot of the recognizable fan favourite characters within the Marvel Universe are duelists. Sure, you have some fan favourites in the other roles, but not enough.

And ofc having mostly braindead dps players complaining about healing and that there's no tanks whilst going in alone and not regrouping or stay in los for supports will always exist.

I really enjoy playing it, and I am very excited to see future updates on it as well.

One of the more interesting things for me is how much you can influence certain characters with your actions. The game also touches on so many philosophical questions when it comes to Bruce Wayne/Batman and why the crimes in Gotham is becoming worse, is it because of a natural phenomenon, or is it Batman who makes this happen? Is Batman really a force for justice and good, or is he just as psychotic and dangerous as the people he locks up?

Personally i like this one way more than the first one. Oh, and the best part of the game is that I can be friends with John Doe. He loves me and I love him!

Joker ♥ Batman

As a fan of Batman and Telltale games I can say this is an enjoyable Telltale adaptation. The story-driven gameplay we've come to expect of Telltale games is as good as you'd expect. Definitely a must-play for fans of Batman and/or games with good stories.

This review is for the whole franchise, which I've played together with my sister and we've enjoyed the journey. One of the funniest things has to be when we tried to imitate the Kraken so we could translate and communicate with it. Some things has been a bit tricky, but we'd figure everything out eventually.

My absolute favourite Telltale game. Can't wait for The Wolf Among Us 2!

I love getting turned into tomato paste by bosses multiple times in a row. I really enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to the DLC, so it's time to play the game once again.
