Really good. Potentially a strong Game Of The Year contender

+ Graphics and optimization. The levels are very detailed and big in scale, yet it ran surprisingly well.
+ Good gameplay variety. A lot of perspective-shifts, mechanics and environment.
+ Side-stories. Added some good variety. They also helped break up the quite lengthy main missions.

~ Story and characters. Serviceable, but not at all deep. Messaging was very on the nose and nothing was up for own interpretation. That being said, I liked the messaging, and the story got me a little emotional towards the end.
~ Price. 50€ for 12-14 Hours is quite a bit of money but the Friend Pass makes up for it. Hazelight also likes running steep discounts on their games.

- The lack of 1 vs 1 elements. While It Takes Two had 25+ Mini-games where you could face off against each other in silly ways, Split fiction only has 3, two of which being side-stories, and that's very disappointing.

Really fun demo. There something so satisfying about going fast, soaring through the sky, while squeezing through and dodging obstacles. Sometimes it's really difficult to know where you are going, especially on the dark "boss" maps. A lot of people have voiced this complaint so I'm sure it will be addressed in full release.

I'd also like to see some meta progression and some skin cosmetics.

The game should be treated as a game of Solitaire, it's nothing more than a fun time-waster.
I wish the game had more depth, A way to progress, to get stronger, or an objective to work towards besides beating the dealer and getting achievements.

I decided to refund, despite the fair price point. I'll probably pick it up again when multiplayer and more content gets added. But for now, I don't see myself spending more than an hour playing Russian roulette with a monster.

This game is a MUST-PLAY. It's free, so what's your excuse to not at least give it a try?
It's about an hour long but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I loved the music, sound, and visuals. The game felt smooth from start to finish.

If I had to nitpick something it would be the inability to skip cutscenes. Right when you start the game you get 45 seconds of animation that can't be skipped or sped up. Less than 2 minutes later you get another 25-second character introduction. Gets tedious if you plan on playing the game multiple times for the achievements.

The sliding puzzle almost took the time of solving all the other puzzle combined. I figured out that solving the maze backward was easier, that way it was easier to figure out which tiles I needed to get on before sliding them around.

From the ashes of depravity rises the phoenix of quality. How else to describe The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe? Such a revolutionary step forward in the lineage of one of the most beloved video game properties of all time!
The additions and changes made to this expansion will surely resonate in the annals of the history of all media ever made. It is perhaps true to say that no mistakes are forever etched in stone, for the stone which The Stanley Parable was carved has itself been transmuted offering a message of hope to those who have ever erred in their judgement. You are not beyond redemption. You may change, and you may become more, so much more than you were before.
If there's any message taken from The Stanley Parable: Ultra deluxe it is this. What a fortune, a privilege, a joy it is to have had such an experience, it leaves me hopeful that as a community - as a world there is time for us to become our greatest selves, as great as we ever could dream of in our wildest, most ambitious visions for a brighter future.

Addicting til' you've unlocked the whole ascension perks.
Currently not playing while waiting for sugar lumps to stack up, enough to fully level the garden.

Finished game in a little over 4 hours. Super enjoyable experience with a lot of different stages, puzzles, mechanics and encounters. Wish the game was a bit longer. Great level design with super nice composition, every minute there was an environment that was screenshot worthy.

I liked all enemies, some more than others. My only gripe about the game was the perspective and how it affected the gameplay just like the first game. If you have bad depth perception there will be some frustrating parts. Game did bug out on me 2 times during the gameplay on me because i passed the stage faster than intended.

Very nice visuals, unique and interesting characters, amazing ending. Gameplay similar to first game but with combat and added mechanics such as tv remote and flashlight.

9.5/10
the .5 deduction is because no gnomes and the game's length and probably won't be much replay value unless you go for collectables..

The game that keeps on giving. Very involved community, with community servers ranging from Dodgeball with pyro's airblast, Prophunt or big boss battles in a 1v20 server this game is still fun 13 years later.
Sadly Valve doesn't do much more than release some cosmetic updates every now and then. Hopefully that's something that changes in the future.
