It might not play as smooth as Smash Bros, but the selection of IPs is pretty dense. There is potential. Sadly since its free-to-play I doubt we'll ever escape the aggressive monetization schemes they've applied though. At least we have Mark Hamill Joker. He is a Global Treasure.

As far as Remasters go, it was well done. I didn’t experience graphical issues or crashes. It still maintained that authentic feel.

What is was lacking from modern day quality of life changes that would’ve been huge are quick saves or notifications on progress via popup or blurb. As an achievement hunter, I did appreciate those additions.

That being said, the most egregious atrocity was the pricepoint. I got it on sale during May the Fourth Celebration at $22 USD and that felt like an attack.

I wouldn’t pay more than $10 for this game if I had to do it again. Its honestly closer to $5 but I appreciate it for what it is.

Mindnumbingly fun. Easy achievements and it has trading cards. I'm sold.
