F**K BATTLE ROYALS, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ most cancerous ‘trend’ I’ve seen in gaming since the online pass. Stop crowbarring that overdone stale streamermode into every damn game. Sick and tired of resources being allocated to something only the worst types of people, twitch CoD streamers, like. Stop listening to shtbags like TimTheFatman or that Swagg moron and just focus on what people want, a good battlefield multiplayer experience.

Great old-school dungeon crawling RPG that has some actually deep gameplay mechanics that make you think and strategize. The ability to take others' abilities by sacrificing them and then adopting those abilities at a somewhat reduced efficiency adds another layer of depth that makes the choices who to run in your party pretty interesting.

There are a few points that could be done better like the blacksmithing system which can lean on the more grindy side and especially for the signature weapons can be very punishing. The game would benefit from a system where you could max them without needing specific dupes of a certain weapon and it would also benefit largely from a system where you can upgrade the tier of the weapon.

Even though I like the characterpacks at face value and I wouldn't mind more of them (please a Lara Croft with dual pistols, Tony Montana with grenade launcher M16 or Arnold Schwarzenegger as his Dutch character from Predator) but one thing I would like for the devs to change about these is to either enable crafting of the items just like the Twitch drops or Deluxe Pack 3 items or for players being able to buy them directly from the trader because as it stands now there is no reason to buy more than one of these. or to buy the Female Hair Pack DLC if you got one of these.

graphics and gameplay that looks like it came through a time vortex from 2008-2011 but made worse by being constantly flashbanged by disgustingly obnoxious monetization dark pathing. At least most other f2p games have the decency to not put their super overpriced scams right in your face at every turn. It also is way too grindy with an overwhelming amount of stuff you need to unlock that probably take way too many hours to get, or pay 40 bucks now to instantly unlock something better. I'd say this is a hard skip, there are tons of better games out there.

Amazing game been having a lot of fun with it before it came to Steam. The combat is addicting and the exploration is amazing.

It took many improvements from Rise and put them in the world aesthetic while making gameplay a lot more enjoyable. The world is one big cohesive map now where co-op lobbies can stay together for the entire time and the new wound system is great for making the game feel faster paced and in my opinion more fun. The campaign is a bit short but the story felt better than world and it looked like narrative was actually at the forefront here in terms of priority. Like they actually wanted to tell a cohesive story with actual characters being involved. In World to me it felt like a lot of the characters were afterthoughts and lacked personality and here that is not the case, however it does feel a bit cliche in terms of storytelling and you could easily predict the direction of the story, it was still nice that it was not an afterthought. The story does bring about some problems, you were pretty much railroaded into keep playing the story, that feeling was less so in World. While in world you did have to actually do the story to unlock more features in the map, more diverse monsters etc. the game still ALLOWED you to explore at your own pace and just go to whichever map you unlocked. In wilds the game/handler does not let you venture off into the wilds at multiple points and locks you into progressing the story further.

The game also visually is a mess. Luckily I have a very beefy PC so I had none of the optimization issues that seem to plague the playerbase however the game visually looks worse than World somehow with very lowres textures and not very detailed and "clay-like" human characters for lack of a better description. So much so that it veered into uncanny valley whenever you had to look at characters for a prolonged time like Alma, Nata or Gemma. The environmental detail and monsters look great though and I don't really have any complaints there. I installed the optional HD texture pack and did not really notice much of an improvement and the way the world and monsters looked did not really bother me. Just the human characters.

All in all I'd say it's an improvement over World and Rise and if you like Monster Hunter then I'd recommend it. What is a worrying sign however is that it follows some aspects from Dragon's Dogma 2 that the community did not like like a character edit voucher you have to pay real money for and same goes for a palico edit voucher. These are the only ways to visually change your character. At least it did not also have only 1 saveslot like that game has. The Roadmap for new content is also a bit worrying with very little content in the nearby future especially compared to what World got in the first 6 months. 1 monster is planned if I recall correctly so do keep that in mind, maybe buy it on sale when optimization fixes have been released and when there is more certainty on the longevity/planned content for the game.

So many games in this genre that look and feel so much better. This felt like an ugly unfinished game that is just not worth playing. If you want an actual good survival game then look towards something like STALKER if you want the same vibes or something like SCUM if you want an actual good survival game. The game is free sure but it's an absolute timewaster not worth your time.

a bit expensive but still fun. Don't really get why it's twice as expensive as the weapon paints considering they are the same paintstyles. Get it if you want to support the game but would recommend waiting for a sale.

Ever since Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which I consider the best game in the franchise there has been a drought for hightier fighting game content. T7 Came nowhere close to the former greatness of the series but I'm happy to say Tekken 8 does. Arcade character endings are back, sort of, the story is amazing with stunning visuals and the side content is great. Also the movement and combat feels better, Tekken 7 felt off for some reason especially for the character I mained since Tekken 3, Jin Kazama, but I'm glad to say that it feels amazing now. Banger soundtrack too. Handsdown the best fighting game in the last couple of years.

If you liked Pokemon when you were younger you'll probably like this. Scratches that nostalgia itch while offering a fun and interesting gameplay loop.

The game is a bit rough around the edges in some places and could use some more different mechanics but still a very fun blend of oldschool Pokemon content and a new age survival game along the lines of Rust and ARK. I do miss some mechanics I got used to in Pokemon however because the vibe is so similar that at times it starts to feel like an official Pokemon game. This game successfully borrows a bunch of mechanics and styles from other games and brings those into the fold to make a cohesive and fun game.
Would love if they started adding different palettes for their "shinies" and if the breeding mechanic got a bit of tuning. Also would be cool if we got an actual sort of story involving this game's "Team Rocket"which are called the Syndicate and if we had Trainer Battles since we got told by Black Marketeers that we can sell "stolen Pokemon" as well as other contraband to him (this includes captured humans, yes you read that right) and I haven't quite found that mechanic yet where you can find other Pal trainers with their own teams.
Also one mechanic I find myself missing is a bit of Terra-forming, something like Valheim's system would be amazing but it's not really needed, would just be cool. Having randomly generated worlds with biomes and different seeds would also be very cool but again not needed, and with small settlements, unique locations like abandoned mine shafts etc. this might not be doable even. There are also Elden Ring-inspired Gaol's scattered across the map with boss enemies/Pals in them.

Also the Pal storage seems a bit limited so I hope that gets addressed especially with how one of the leveling system works. There are a myriad of other small issues that could use some fine-tuning but nothing like a complete rework or overhaul is needed from what I have experienced. One of the few small issues that could be addressed for example are pathing issues or adding some more building options like half-walls or wall signs. The devs have said that they will include official mod support, and a nexus page is already up (and of course an unofficial Pokemon mod has also already appeared) so we might see stuff like that addressed by the modding community. All in all it's a very fun game gotten for a very fair price. Definitely worth it.
