Ark is like a slightly more peaceful Rust with more time involvement.

When you get wiped out you'll be angrier mostly because dinos take hours (sometimes days) to tame each.

Ark has more work involved and more loss involved, but this can bring its own thrill.

Whether you like that thrill is up to you :)

The best way to describe Rust is with the word Chaos.

It's a fun game if you join a large community or bring one into the game. It's also not one of these games you can play for 5 minutes and come back two weeks later where you left off. do not buy this game if you can't log in on a daily basis for extended periods of time, as your enemies (or people you've never met) won't hesitate to blow up your ♥♥♥♥ to see the explosion.

To me this is a fun game I go back to from time to time to stir ♥♥♥♥ up, but even then expect to spend a few weeks playing little else.

Hopefully the future of Space MMOs with some more work, already fun to play as is and has regular patches (tend to be less frequent but with more content).

The full galaxy is available, with planets being added over time. for now with the DLC you can land on planets/moons with no atmosphere. What I like about this game is they develop a feature to 90% ( no feature ever comes out 100% ) and then they polish it before moving onto another feature.

Buy if :

- you like dogfighting, space trucking or exploration.
- don't mind working to earn upgrades.
- like what you see and want to support the future of ED

Don't buy if :

- you're entitled
- get pissed when you die (to players or otherwise)
- you're expecting an easy game

It's all right. a good hour or two of fun, don't expect too much replayability. A good "Here's what you can do with VR" game to show your friends, but not quite deep enough to keep me coming back.
