You start out as literally less than dirt, nothing to your name but literal rags on your back and you can take that ANYWHERE. truly a game for the ages, do not sleep on this gem.

Having played this game all the way back in 2015 via gameshare with a friend (god those were the days huh?) i knew instantly this was going to be a one of a kind game, the music is uniquely calming, the gameplay itself is unlike anything ive really seen before as well, while some games do leak into the type of gameplay Kenshi commands, no other game really does it as well as this.

This is without a doubt one of the best zombie games I've played easily a GOAT for me. It doesn't matter if the graphics aren't realistic I can still get immersed and lost in the intensity and sorrow of the dead world this game has to offer. I'm rather partial to zombie games set DURING the downfall of society (it stinks there are so few) and this is one of the few games to actually do it. The game being fun to boot as well is a bonus! Speaking on the story it is told mostly through the TV and Radios dotted across the map (you have to catch the broadcasts as they happen) as well as environmental story telling utterly EVERYWHERE. Speaking on the game-play this game can sometimes be rough around the edges but that doesn't stop it from being fun. For the most part if it makes sense to do, you can do it. locked house? smash a door or window open, same with cars. OR you can try to look for the keys and get in that way. need an appliance that your base doesn't have? pick it up and take it with you to your base. Need to disinfect a wound? pour bourbon or other strong alcohol on it and bandage it up with a clean torn up shirt! The game really does encompass a lot of common sense mechanics, it's wonderful. And if it's not in the base game there are hundreds if not thousands of mods that can add it or rework it! I truly cannot sing enough praise about this game and they're not even done working on it!!!
