great rally game. big improvements on my end for force feedback (versus dirt rally 2.0). the EA login is annoying and the anticheat they use is intrusive internally to the computer, but the game itself is very enjoyable.

cons:

1. the damage is much more forgiving than in dirt rally 2.0 in fact, i have not been able to crash and cause functional damage in time trial mode (except terminal damage, such as running into a tree at 160kph)
2. the menus are REALLY annoying (my wheel hides the menus because they're on the bottom... seriously codemastrers??)
3. game crashed once so far when I was editing the livery for a custom vehicle.
4. lack of customisation that was available in dirt rally 2.0

pros:

1. excellent road sensation and force feedback
2. tons of stages, good variety
3. really cool seasonal changes (select from 4 seasons, add snow, rain etc.)
4. co-driver callouts are good (at least in English language)
5. improved visuals

I noticed a lot of negative reviews are about the anticheat. that's fair, but the gameplay itself is really fun. i think if EA changed the anticheat and fixed some bugs, it would be 9/10. right now I'll give it 7/10.

yes but caveat is that this is a very different take on the genre. personally i liked ds series better. this game feels more unbalanced, some bosses are pushovers and others have very hard mechanics. despite it being open world i thought it felt as linear as ds games, maybe even more. going to give it another playthrough soon and see how it feels, but when i tried newgame+ everything felt too easy. i killed the sentinel in 3 hits.

Cool game but the menus and the way you load mods is janky and dated. A lot of people memeing it up in the reviews and on youtube but I honestly didn't like it.

First I couldn't get the game to load because of an issue with the Rockstar launcher connecting to my account. This launcher uses a lot of system resources, and you need to be logged in to a Rockstar account through the launcher in order to play the game. Why even use Steam at all if I need to have a whole other launcher? It's the same kind of crap that EA has with their Origin (or whatever it's called now) launcher, but a lot more in your face.

The game itself is very scripted. Unless you're ready to invest yourself in the story, you will probably get bored with it very quickly like I did. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd do that. I wanted to play a video game, but ended up controlling how fast my horse walked and pressed mouse 2 to "look at" the npc who was talking. Not fun like RDR1 was.

Recommended for both single player and multiplayer. Co-op too.

This game is so far removed from what the previous Halo games have been that it's almost comical to call it "Halo."

The F2P model is an obvious cash grab by 343 and Microsoft. Many things require you to have the Battle Pass, an extra purchase. There are weapon "charms." There is a samurai armour set. An annoying high pitched voice at the beginning of every match tells you to be "the best little slayer you can be!" You must unlock armour colors.

This is an M rated game made for 12 year olds. If you're a 12 year old whose parents let you play adult games, this is for you.

If you have played the Halo series all the way through from CE, and you had been waiting for the 6th installment and possibly a worthy successor to Halo 3, you will be very disappointed.

This game has been out for years and has major problems. The developers are absent in the forums since last year and do not address problems brought up in bug reporting section.

I cannot recommend this game sadly. :( It has a lot of potential.

Owned this game since 2014. It is excellent, and the developers have been consistently thorough in bug fixes and community communication since the beginning.

Highly recommend. Don't let the playercount deter you.
