I don't name my cars, I think it's a little strange that people try to personify their vehicles if I'm honest. I'm not trying to attack anyone for naming their vehicle, I realize I'm in a minority here, but what really creeps me out is when people actually refer to their vehicle by name, as if I'm supposed to be on a first name basis with it.

My friend posted on facebook, "going out for a ride with Serenity." "Who?" "My motorcycle." Ugh. A lot of ugh. All over miata.net you see people posting things like, "Me and Jane love taking the backroads." "Oh cool, your wife likes the miata too?" "no, the car's name is Jane." Wow, so here I was thinking you were having fun with a person but you were actually referring to a motor vehicle.

It's just a little too much for me...
