Why can you not buy this version of the first game you may ask... I'll tell you why.
Have you noticed that both versions of the second game sell for $40?
Also the third game, still remains $60, even after 2 years of its completion including DLC.
Well my friend, this, the first Dark Souls was remastered... and goes for the second games price of $40.
Normaly, that would atleast make this, the 'un-remastered' version roughly half price, right?
NO
No it would not, instead, you can no longer purchase this version, give your money to money hungry devs.

Another fine example as to why the gaming industries 'last few heros' are also doomed to only get worse.

Rest In Peace the golden age of gaming, and a very un-welcoming hello to plauge that has devoured one of the best sources of entertainment...
