THE FIRE MAIDEN

An Iron Coffin Laid, the cold within wasn't faint as traces alone pained them they said.
A foil, dry they claimed. They awaited rain for a softer soil... For their desired spoils.
All boiled away as the sun wished to stay to make sure the coffin remained at bay.
The corpse rotted, it's purpose had left. Everyone thought it was no longer the best.
Part of his mind was gone alongside doubts... Signalled potential, remained at rest.
Pushing through the skies, a blaze stroke the ground, to set the claims of fraud ablaze.
It raced the locals whom saw not the worth, it's fierce force razed a crater upon the earth.
Clouds lurked near yet it smirked without fear, despite of which, no one else cheered.
With a welcoming storm for such endeavour, a blurt claimed it not the first, it rehearsed.
"Has arrived our calamity, open your eyes and see... So let us kindle my gentle sire."
"As we would eventually, ashen what is left of me... So let us dwindle, Maiden of Fire."
