Better then all the other space bug shooters. Eat that Starship troopers

My 2 cents after 30+ hours compared to 300 in Darktide.

Currently HD2 strategem mechanics are interesting and new but after 30 hours you will notice there's no variance. Darktide has that edge because its an RPG and you have so many customization options. Once Hell divers 2 drops enough content it may outdo Darktide in that aspect ( Mech's, APC's, Mobile cover emplacements.) It will become a interesting combat experience. Currently on the hardest difficulty you can die as soon as you spawn by RNG. Also the weapons you drop with are pretty weak. Armor mechanics need a fix which will hopefully balance that out. If they ever add a customization system like Darktide's skill tree, its quite literally 'wraps' for replayability and 'builds'.

Comparing both because they are small studios Swedish developers and I think Arrowhead studios is on the right track unlike Fatshark.

No I like both Helldivers 2 and Darktide. I hope HD2 devs can upscale in time and release content regularly. Paid or not I'm gonna try it all. Same goes for Darktide whenever fat shark gets hungry again.

Also for all the people saying HD2 is a copy of Starship troopers and the like...So what?
You want to copy things that are good and hopefully not copy aspects that aren't. Its like if someone recreated Helldivers 2 with a Halo ODST theme. It would be awesome!
