FlyKnight is such a lovely game. The soundtrack and art style had me smiling from the first moment I opened the game. Not too short and not too long. A vert pleasant experience.

A modern but very faithful remaster albeit a bit drawn out in length it's still an extremely good game.

Surprisingly fun but hilarious. Absolutely no semblance of balance whatsoever which just adds to the insanity.

I've had this game in my library for many years and I'm not sure where I actually got it from. Probably a bundle of some sort of bundle but I can't be sure. I don't know why it took me so long to actually check out a game from Piranha Bytes but I'm glad I finally did. Risen is a very immersive experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the voice acting and characters. The combat is pretty bad but I didn't let that ruin my experience. Once you start getting stronger and better equipment then the combat isn't really a problem. I played for the story and enjoyed it up until the ending which was pretty poor but I still enjoyed my experience with the game regardless.

2 steps forward 10 steps back. Don't balance the game around PVP. You gimped a huge percentage of peoples builds and for what? So it takes a little bit longer for people to upgrade Pieta's swords? You do realise they will just dupe items again? You literally F'd over so many people and now we're end game with no more delarium chunks and hitting like a wet noodle. I'll update my review if they reimburse people with materials for gimping their weapons.

EDIT Devs added some items you can collect in the hub area to get your weapons back up to where they should be and have made plans to separate PVP and PVE balancing.

After almost a decade I've returned to actually finish this before I play the new LotF 2023 game. I initially gave up with this one because of how many bugs and game breaking problems there was at launch. My character was infinitely falling to his death through the ground in the catacombs. Although the game is still very glitchy I have been safe from this game breaking bug so far on my new playthrough. This game is all sorts of jank with insanely annoying enemies, broken hit boxes and audio that just stops working after some time. OH.... AND I HOPE YOU LIKE SCREEN SHAKE BECAUSE THIS GAME LOVES TO SHAKE YOUR SCREEN. I think I'm going to be sick.... brb

Visually stunning game and quite demanding. You NEED a good RTX graphics card if you want to play at 60+ FPS and that's with up scaling like DLSS. If you don't own one I can't recommend it based on reports of poor performance. Since it's running on Unreal Engine 5 using tech like nanite and lots of new shiny effects then you're gonna want a good rig. The recommended system specs are BARE MINIMUM lol. The devs should definitely update those.

My system i9 9900K with a RTX 4070 12GB card and 32GB of DDR4 3200

When playing at 1440p ultra with DLSS set to quality I get anywhere between 60-80fps. With AI frame generation which you can only enable with a 40 series card I get about 120fps.

If you're a fan of old school shooters and Resident Evil 4 then definitely check this one out.

Beautifully crafted short game. If you're a Silent Hill fan I highly recommend Lake Haven: Chrysalis

EDIT: I just wanted to mention I played through this on my Steam Deck with absolutely zero problems whatsoever so for anyone wondering if it is running well then I can confirm it's perfect.

Play this if you hate yourself and enjoy crashing all the time while Activision rolls around in pools of money instead of fixing their multi billion dollar game.
