I didn't know whether I was going to like this game. But within the first couple hours it grabbed my brain and has not let go. To the point where I sometimes need to uninstall when I have important stuff to do.

My advice to new players: enjoy the ride, don't rush, do whatever feels fun.

3 hours in, I recommend it. Great art, cute characters, mostly amusing writing. Combat has been extremely easy so far. But overall, the game is very satisfying. AFAIK, this was done entirely by a single dev, which is really amazing. Darya Noghani will go on to do great stuff in games, no doubt.

If you've ever looked up at the night sky and felt tiny, Outer Wilds is for you. Don't Google anything, don't read about it on Reddit, just play.

You will feel like a genius and an idiot as you peel back layers to the story and the universe. If you feel stuck on something, you're probably closer to a solution than you think.

Only caveat is that if you get motion sickness from FPS games, probably skip this one. Lots of floaty, spinny low gravity movement involved.

There's good and bad, ups and downs, but when it comes down to it, the good stuff is some of the best there is in gaming. If you make Destiny your entire life, it will probably make you sad. Find the level of engagement that makes you happy, and stick with that.
