Just in case you guys missed it whilst instantly cancelling your update news, Left 4 Dead 2 is now free! Yes, completely free! Only for a short time though, so quick, go grab yourself a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 so I can kill some survivors with you guys.
No, this is not a scam. Click on the Store tab in your Steam client and just search for Left 4 Dead 2 as if you were about to buy a regular steam game!

Are you ready to fight robots? Well guess what! Now you can!
In Team Fortress 2's new update, A Tale of Two Cities, two new Mann vs. Machine maps have been added, Mannhattan (see what they did there?) and Rottenburg (Don't see what they did there though.) In Mannhattan, you can complete tours of duty to earn Killstreak Kits, which can add shiny affects to your weapons and eventually, your character.
For all of you Medic players out there, he's gotten a bit more powerful in MvM. He now has an upgrade that can revive dead teammates, as well as put up an incredibly powerful projectile shield. So that one mob of soldiers that always gets you can be completely nulled. They've also added Austrailium (Gold) weapons from tours of duty. You can also upgrade your Medic to shoot Mad Milk syringes (How cool is that?)
"The "Rocket Specialist" upgrade lets the Soldier shoot faster rockets that temporarily stun any target they don't kill. Direct hits to a target increase splash damage radius to surrounding enemies." - VALVe's Official Post
And most importantly... This update... Contains... No... HATS! WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR VALVe! STANDING OVATION! BRAVO, BRAVISSIMO!
(Oh, and a Community added CP map called Snakewater was added.)

After a long time of nothing but hats it would seem that good old All Hallow's Eve has finally saved us from the stream of low quality community updates! As of right now, they have added the new map "Helltower" which is the new Halloween version of plr_hightower! In this map, both teams are in a race to push either Redmond or Blutarch Mann to Hell! Once a team has done it, you are teleported to Skull Island (In Hell) where you can earn a new Spellbook! Speaking of spells, all through Helltower, spellbooks drop from either pushing the corpse, killing opponents, or just randomly. These spellbooks allow you to use special abilities against your enemies, such as, pumpkin bombs, fireballs, fire storms, and even turn yourself into the one-eyed demon from updates past, Monoculus! So go ahead, play it... If you dare...

Oh, and also 100+ new Halloween restricted hats.
