This group is for fans of the X-Wing mini's star wars game on Tabletop Simulator.

WAR IS COMING

Get ready for the start of the Group's first campaign. The War begins on Saturday!

Pick Teams

Each participant will select either Rebel or Imperial for the campaign, but be warned once a team is chosen it is LOCKED in until the end of the campaign!

The Battlefield

There are 5 planets that this war will be fought over: Yavin 4, Coruscant, Hoth, Bespin, and Tatooine.

Rebels will control Yavin 4, which is their Capital, and Tatooine at the beginning of the campaign.

Imperials will control Coruscant (Capital), and Bespin at the beginning of the campaign.

Game Mechanics

• The game plays out in a series of 1v1s.
  
• Each planet has 2 control points, each victory is one control point.
  
• Teams must have a control point on the planet in order to use the ships from that planet.
  
• Teams most have two direct lines to the enemy's capital in order to attack it.
  
• First team to take the other capital wins!

The Scum
Like I said before, as soon as the campaign starts the teams are locked. But any other play may still participate if they choose, by fighting not for the Alliance or the Emporium but for the Scum!

Scum may choose to attack and control the 3 non capital planets. (Hoth, Tatooine, and Bespin)
When attacking, Scum may choose which faction to attack if the planet is currently controlled by both factions. A Scum victory means the loss of 1 control point.


Window of Opportunity
The game plays out in a series of challenges. The attacker chooses to attack a planet, then any defender may choose to defend it. However if an attack goes undefended for an hour, the attacker takes control of one control point on the planet.

Match Details

• Teams consist of 100 point squads for the 3 inner planets (Tatooine, Bespin, and Hoth)
  
• Attacking and Defending the capitol will consist of a 200 point match consisting of up to 2 players per Team.
  
• 100 point matches will be 60 minutes long.
  
• 200 point matches will be 90 minutes long.

Scheduling
The campaign will start on Saturday at 3 PM EST. At 4 PM EST the teams will be locked. And at 8 PM EST, no more challenges will be issued.

Thoughts
I was thinking that this would be a good starting point, but I would like to open it up to a much bigger game, with upgrades and victory points and experience. I'm going to put this up on Discussion for everyone to chip in!
