I'm working on editing and uploading last weekend's livestreams to YouTube this morning, so you should start seeing them pop up on my YouTube channel later today.

I've also worked out how to properly capture Distant Worlds in Open Broadcaster Software without using "monitor capture" mode, which turns out to seriously hamper in-game performance. With the new settings, I can still capture the game properly but the performance is wonderful -- it can run at 4x speeds again even on my current save, with all its insane fleet counts and active factions.

Thus, in my upcoming livestream on Saturday, I'll be able to pick up where we left off last time and there won't be any performance issues to get in the way. Woohoo! Now the Shakturi Supremacy are in for the beating of their lives :)

Assuming my cable provider's technician arrives on time today and is able to diagnose the problem with my internet connection (it drops and resets every 40-45 minutes, which makes streaming for any period of time a very unpleasant proposition), I'll be streaming today starting around 2:00pm if possible.

I'm asking because I got a little burned out on X Rebirth last week, though I have upgraded my video card (to a Radeon R9 290) since and the game runs _much_ more smoothly now, and I've added some new mods to play with as well, so if there's no interest in other games I can always crank up X Rebirth and carry on building my impending galaxy-conquering empire.
