BiT In-house PUG rules


1. No Constant Off-classing: This mainly covers but is not limited to Avoiding the class you selected in favour of playing something else.
This in mind, off-classing with good reason is allowed when the appropriate situation arises.

Off-classing Pyro for defending last: IS ALLOWED
Running a Pyro to the middle point: IS NOT ALLOWED

2. No Team Stacking: This rule applies to anyone caught doing the following.
• Selecting the same few people
• Asking for a captain to pick you pregame
• Picking players based on skill level to give you an advantage
• Guilt Tripping the Captain into picking players
Especially I want to note the 3rd bullet point, PUGs are to help people learn and improve. By stacking the team to give yourself an advantage, you are not only limiting yourself because your team will carry you. You’re also making it an unfun experience for everyone else.

3. No Constantly Hogging a Class: This is the subject of a lot of complaint from people; there are too many people who complain they cannot play select classes so they always take the same classes, those classes being Roamer and Scout. PUGs are for learning and improving on your skill level on all classes. JUST BECAUSE YOU CANNOT PLAY A CLASS DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD STOP OTHERS PLAYING A CLASS.

4. No Trash Talk: The occasional jokey remark, tongue and cheek humour is acceptable. Literally belittling and ♥♥♥♥ talking players IS NOT.

The punishment system works over consistency, the more rules you break over time. The longer your bans will be. Tier list is below.

First Rule Broke: Banned from 1 Pug
Second Rule Broke: Banned from 3 Pugs
Third Rule Broke: Banned from a Day of pugs
Fourth Rule Broke: Banned from 2 Days of pugs
Fifth Rule Broke: Banned from 3 Days of pugs
Sixth Rule Broke: Banned from a Week of Pugs
Seventh Rule Broke: Banned until PUG members decide you’re unbanned
