We are a Half-Life 2 Roleplay community that opens our arms and welcomes new and existing players alike. Each community member is valued, respected, and listened to by our friendly staff team. Our server has attracted some amazing people, great roleplayers, and brought friendships together. We thank all of you who have become apart of Vortex, and those who plan to.

Our current Half-Life 2 Roleplay server supports a play-to-lose default scenario, unless rolling is agreed on by both parties. Our Civil Protection units are given a variety of divisions to choose from, each division with it's own ranks, tiers, abilities, and unlocks; such as deployable manhacks, a tactical APC vehicle, and Union morphines used to sedate medical paitents. We also have a wide variety of clothing items for citizens, such as beanies, gloves, customizeable shirts, pants, jackets, vests, and other miscellaneous items. We have a multitude of factions, whether it be a horrifying cremator, or a three-legged houndeye creature from Xen.

Vortex Roleplay was founded on January 10th, 2014. The server came online the following day, January 11th. A few committing staff, players, and even outsiders volunteered their help into making Vortex. Thanks to an amazing group of people, the server came up in less than twenty-four hours. And thanks to another group of people that is constantly growing, Vortex continues [nevermind, it's closed now] to thrive, funded 100% from donations. We are thankful to be part of such an amazing community, and hope that others can experience the enjoyment as well.

Our community tag is [VG], Vortex Gaming, representing Vortex as a community in games other than Garry's Mod.
