A TYPICALLY ENGLISH MOD

UKLM is being composed by a group of britsh members. With London being a major city of the world, we are excited to finally bring something totally new to Arma 3. We see UKLM as being the first and only UK Life Mod in the arma industry, we hope to bring new and exciting features to the community members and offer exclusive content which other RPG server cannot bring to the table. We hope the community is as enthusiastic about UKLM as we are!

We are currently 60% completed and will soon be releasing our first alpha version which will be made completely accessing to loyal members of our community. You can look forward to brand new totally British vehicles such as the london bus, london taxis, dust-bin trucks, articulated trucks and buildings such as the london eye and tower bridge.

Hello everyone and welcome to the 26/01/2020 UKLifeMod announcement…

We do apologise that this update failed to release on the due date that was provided, we database issue which related to website posts that failed to show other users the update posts. We have had a rocky road over the years as many staff come and go, but we are grateful for all staff that have been involved in the project and would wish any of the ex members listed on the forums all the best. We are more than happy to welcome these members to join into the in-game experience. That being said we are here today and have brought the announcement for the pre-alpha release, which has been much anticipated for some time particularly our dedicated members which have been involved from the start.

As everyone will be wondering which is what we are actually bringing to the table in this vast scape of mods and RPG communities within the Arma series. We have a unique community with a different perspective on the whole administrative system and (higher-archy) which leaders in nearly every community imposes, we believe people strive for power with this concept so instead we opted for a more open approach with members needing to prove there maturity and actual ambition to improve the community. Only are then given status based on what they would like to contribute, rather than a ranking structure. This keeps away any power hungry vidictious members which try imply power down upon people. We also have the most unique theme within RPG communities as we are a UK community bringing all custom UK assets. This is a vast range of models we won’t go over them all but just categories as all custom assets are but not limited to, buildings, vehicles land, sea, air, weapons and objects i.e signs and trees etc. We are aiming to limit the use of any BI assets and try to bring a totally new game to people with our UK twist to the Arma RPG community currently in place. This is a massive task as we are only funded by the two owners. We have to date have not asked or received any single donations towards the project as we didn’t want to start implying people false hopes with release dates and deadlines. In short, if we don't rush we will be providing a better quality of work knowing our own funds were spent in the right places. This is because it's easy to spend other people's money in the wrong places.

With that being said I would just like to mention within this announcement not every single piece of information can be announced as there is so much going on within the server development. See below the lists of what we can clarify;

This is not limited to petrol stations but it is system for real jobs

Work in progress:

Re-working player send to prison system / major bug need attention

Metal Detecting old relics and rare items will adapt into crafting system

Speed camera coding left to complete / models in game

Red telephone box able to make phone calls to players [requires coding]

Traffic lights / allow players to interact with crossing the road safely

Red Post box allow players to send messages to admins will be able to report players

DVLA Vehicle number plate registering

British Police/Medic sirens will be added next update

BUGS:

Weed Field does not work but improving the system / players will be able to grow weed inside apartments and fields.

Ingame wanted system does not work but replaced with custom criminal system plus prison system does not work but all police will be updated within server launch

Certain map locations do not function %100 correctly

Pre-Alpha Members & Server Release

Hey all!

We just wanted to give everyone an update on the community.

Now that things are shaping into place, and public progress is being made, we would like to annouce our special Pre-Alpha Member program.

This program has been set up to give back to the members who have stuck with us during our development, and are still strong in believing that we will succeed as a community.

Members that are already a part of this community, and individuals that are interested and are looking into joining this community have a chance to be apart of our Alpha testing stages. If you have not already signed-up, and have joined atleast one of our three factions, then now is your chance to gain access to these unique benefits!

If you sign up before our Alpha server is released, you are granted 3 special benefits, a private testing key to access our Alpha server upon server release day, a special Pre-Alpha Member tag to show off on on our community TeamSpeak, as a token of appreciation for your continued support, and finally a special Pre-Alpha Member badge displayed under your name on our community website, again, as a reward for the support you have given us.

Now, these benefits are only available and valid to members, that sign up to our community before our first Alpha server release has taken place, so time is ticking to reap these benefits, as they are only available for a short amount of time!

The question that you may all be asking regarding this new program, is when will this Alpha testing server be released?

At this moment in time we cannot confirm an exact date for the release, which may sound all too familiar to you all, but we can assure you that it is not far away at all.

We would like to put an official estimate of around a month until Alpha testing is in full play, and available to all of you.

We have agreed to take out our interactive Alpha testing server on a familiar map to the ArmA III Community, being Malden, which may sound as a surprise to a lot of you, knowing that this community has revolved around a custom, never seen before London map ever since the beginning, but we are still in development in regards to London, but would still like to give everyone a taster of our custom framework and assets that will reside within our server, and ultimately a taste of what is to come.

Regardless, our Malden map will not cease to amaze, as it will still host everything that is on our London map, except the terrain itself, giving us a platform to experiment and test on, and a platform for you to enjoy yourselves on.
