So, I haven't been active in TPT for the last couple of years. But I have not forgotten the memories this group has given me and I owe my corny, heartfelt thanks to it. Out of everybody, which there are many deserving thanks, I undoubtedly have to thank Trinsic, Kittie, and Monstur (Now known as "Bo" to my knowledge) for being the core of TPT. So, thank you!
I emphatically consider many people in this group close friends and positive people.
Some might think it is "sad" to have online friends but I personally (And I'm sure many others) sincerely appreciate the shared laughs and moments across the virtual world. This might appear over-dramatic for an online group of gamers - but I must say that some of the moments in this group are a part of my fondest memories.
Wanted to share this quote from somebody I think Trinsic would know:
"A man of knowledge lives by acting, not by thinking about acting."
Happy New Year to TPT.
“I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.”
-Neil Gaiman
Great quote Jake!
"A realistic goal will push you better than an unrealistic one"
-Jake (A.K.A. Capt Salt)
are mad at you for speaking the truth
are those people who are living a lie.
KEEP SPEAKING THE TRUTH.
Don't lose your way
With each passing day
You've come so far
Don't throw it away
Live believing
Dreams are for weaving
Wonders are waiting to start
Live your story
Faith, hope and glory
Hold to the truth in your heart
~ Diana Ross
"Mercy, Mercy Me"
Woo ah, mercy mercy me
Ah things ain't what they used to be,
Where did all the blue skies go?
Poison is the wind that blows from the north and south and east
Woo mercy, mercy me, mercy father
Ah things ain't what they used to be, no no
Oil wasted on the ocean and upon our seas, fish full of mercury
oh mercy, mercy me
Ah things ain't what they used to be, no
Radiation under ground and in the sky
Animals and birds who live nearby are dying
Oh mercy, mercy me
Ah things ain't what they used to be
What about this overcrowded land
How much more abuse from man can she stand?
My sweet Lord... No
My Lord... My sweet Lord
~ Marvin Gaye
Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today
~ Marvin Gaye
"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough"
~ Oprah Winfrey

-JFK
Let us remeber the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination.
A well balanced rhythm, a well kept beat;
A tempo ticking with a one, two, three;
The arching sound wave of music so sweet;
These are the things that are pleasing to me.
A man whistles his way to work today,
A woman hums to her little newborn.
The music speaks to them in its own way,
And lets them dance free of judgment or scorn.
To songs who shift one’s mood for the better,
Even on overcast days and dark nights.
To songs who turn one’s heavy eyes wetter,
When a mood has fallen from extreme heights.
To those who sing alone in their bathroom
Someone out there is singing the same tune.
