English Gaming in Germany's True North

I was going through a lot of the suggestions that folks had, and ideas that I'd come up with. Then I came up with this name and it tickled me in a lot of ways, geeky ways. Like OWL is the tests from Harry Potter, Piper could be Billy Piper from Doctor Who, or a Scottish Piper playing into warfare and DnD. But also the birds, cause I love both owls and sandpipers. But the last bit that sold it to me, Owl And Piper, OAP, cause we're old!

Why the Owl and Piper? Whats behind the name?
