T.L.M. Taking the fight to the enemy!

Hello to all,
We are The Last Mercenaries. We are a clan that mainly plays CounterStrike: Source, but a variety of other games as well. We plan on doing TWL and would like to scrim occasionally.

As of November (08) I have decided to close recruitment. Now this doesn't mean you can't drop by and chill with us, I'm just not going to add anyone else to the roster at this time. The clan has changed, and we rather play tons of other games, and far less of CSS. Now the clan will still be a clan, but due to many people wanting to join to be very competitive, I have closed down recruiting, to make it easier on them and ourselves. But if you'd like to join, regardless of the recruitment being closed drop by our ventrilo, and hang with us, nothing say's you can't just chill and play games with us. Now to let you know we've been playing so many other games, please be patient with us if we are playing something else, or maybe join on in if you've got the game. At some point we will return to the old format, just not sure when. Please bear with us until that time.

SilentSnake's Passing

To all former TLM members and friends,

I regret to inform you that our dear friend and teammate SilentSnake has passed away. Whether you knew him as Scott, Kamarn, or the token black guy, you knew that he was a truly kind and gentle gamer. My earliest memories of Scott were playing CS with him on ventrilo in 2006. His mic was always broken back then, so he communicated with sounds he played through his speakers. He has continued to game with us since as a faithful coop partner and friendly ventrilo companion.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet up with Scott in NYC a few years ago. It didn't dawn on me until that day what a great and genuine person he was. Some people act like a different person when they're online and others aren't themselves in person, but Scott was exactly who he wanted to be and he never changed a thing. Scott was quiet, he preferred to hang back and listen, but always had something funny to add when he wanted to. The man had a surprising knack for noticing when others were on fire, that can't be denied.

In his memory, we invite all of his gaming friends, old and new, to join us on Ventrilo tomorrow (Saturday, March 14th) to reminisce and hang out with us, as well as, play a few memorable games from our time spent with Scott. I will be coming on around noon, but feel free to join any time you can.

Although Scott was known to have hardware and latency issues in the past, I'm sure he's gaming right now on a sweet new rig in the afterlife.
