Masters of Aether

The first clan of AErena. The INCquisition consists of only the best of the best. There are masters....and then there is us, the Grandmasters :)

Motto: Pursue perfection. For the greater good, we must become greater than just good.

Requirements

-Reached Masters league in current or previous seasons
-Defeated any (5) current INC aethermasters
-Good sportsmanship, play fair and friendly
-Play 1 of the Gatekeepers (GK, roder, Schein, Flashbang) in entrance match

Purpose

-Will host tournaments amongst the best players, cash prizes/steam cards handed out
-Connect with other top masters, discuss strategies/tactics and play custom matches
-Exclusive clan to house all the best players of AErena

But let it be known...there are no gods...rather, we are Gods of the aerena. Aether is how we evangelize, by converting our enemies into dust. And before our encounter is over, you will be praying to us instead, that the finishing blow is swift and merciful. We are the judge, jury and executioner, and we will find all those guilty of misdeeds. Aether was not meant to reach the hands of mere mortals, and it is our duty to control and contain it. Fire was given to man, but aether is what will burn this world to the ground. It can reduce the common man to a bumbling junkie, and reduce countries to ash and rubble, as seen from the Aetherwars. All is toxic and harmful after a certain point, even oxygen in the air we breathe. Followers of the INCquisition are regarded as guardians of Aether, and will prevent its corruption of man and world. As aethermasters, only we have mastered Aether, and only we can handle and control its true power.

Aerena Revival

Some unfortunate news has come up that Cliffhanger Software (sister company of Cliffhanger Games) has filed for bankruptcy, so who knows what the future of Aerena holds. But worst case scenario, if the game's servers are taken offline, it is time to ride this wave into the sunset, and a chance to play your final games before we see what finalizes. primetide is optimistic the servers will stay online for their newest game Shadowrun Chronicles, but I'm not sure any word on Aerena's future has been disclosed yet.

Some of you have left the community a long time ago. Maybe it was exhaustion from constantly grinding for Top 3 seasonal prizes. or maybe it was the endless grind for buying consumables to stay afloat. Well they dont have money prizes anymore so the top players can stop being passive aggressive towards each other . And there is only permanent shells now, no consumables, which is great because it really clashed with the quest model. I just downloaded the Masters Edition after months of not playing, and the game feels new to me. I am a newbie again.

And some of us have unfinished business in the Aerena So come play some matches again, push some fools off the platform and give a farewell to the tactical game we all enjoyed.
