Terranova Plugins, Community Discord, and More!

Wowza a lot has happened since I posted the last announcement!

First things first! If you didn't see the first announcement I suggest you give it a quick look over so you can be up to date with the information posted there! Now on with the real information! We are officially making our Discord Server open to the public, so I would love to see your friendly faces there as we discuss important server suggestions, features, map ideas, etc. so that you opinion is properly represented. In order to join the Discord you WILL need a forum account, but the good news is it is steam sign in and will take all of two seconds to get everything connected. We have also selected a Civil Protection Faction Lead for the time being, and that person is bravo! A long time community member and notably competent unit roleplayer and roleplayer in general. The last BIG piece of information is that the primary developer for Terranova has given us permission to use their plugins as we see fit in our community since they have shutdown. This is BIG news and will DEFINITELY change the development timeline.

Happy Holidays! And some News!

Long time no see everyone! I have a decently big announcement and look forward to hearing back from you all! However! First and foremost I hope everyone is doing well, and (even though I am a wee bit late) have had a great Holiday.

The big announcement is as follows:

Some people have been aware of its existence for quite some time now and have even noticed me conveniently sitting in Garry's Mod for an excessively long time. The day has come that we fully announce that something is in the works for The Earthfall Network! We hope this excites you, and I look forward to the future and reading through your suggestions and comments on features. If you have any questions or concerns that you believe need to be handled privately you can reach me via PMs on the forums or via business@theearthfallnetwork.com. This is a soft opening meaning nothing regarding the server is publicly accessible other than snippets included in our DevBlog, however, there may be potential for play testing down the road as development nears a stable and finalized state. I would like to forewarn our community members now that due to circumstances outside of my control regarding school, work, etc. that development may at times halt temporarily. Efforts of course will be made to continue development as soon as possible, this will be the case until we can find a capable developer willing to work alongside me. DevBlogs are typically posted on Fridays barring various circumstances such as Holidays. Work has been in progress for the server since June 2020, and we have certain goals gameplay and roleplay capability wise that we would like to implement before releasing. As such, our release date has not been set and will be contingent on the amount of development achievable. As we approach completion of those goals a set release date will be announced. A big part of this release is making sure we get public opinion and suggestions on WHAT people want to see implemented, so please take the time to give your opinion and upvote, downvote, comment, and even submit suggestions for review. We want to know WHAT you want to see so that we can do our best to provide it.
