Hello everyone it's been a long time since I have posted updates for any game. Let alone my favorite game Supreme Commander and the expansion Forged Alliance.

When I learned that gpg.net has been taken down and that we would not be able to download mods & maps, play against others or communicate via chat with t0he community. To say that an significant integral piece of the Supreme Commander interaction was going away; would have been an understatement.

So when I was told that players could connect via steam I was quite elated. Unfortuntely, the method of connecting is very rudimentary and does not allow for the transfer of maps while connecting to other players.

After trying to explore other options of connecting. I came across an application that does the job of gpg.net quite nicely.

You can download the client and essentially have the same functionality as was originally offered via the gpg client. Sharing of maps, mods, game replays, ability to chat with other players, and of course play against others in one convenient location.

Go ahead and check out the program and if you are looking to play some Forged Alliance. Do NOT hesitate to contact me as I am always looking for a game of Forged Alliance or the original Sup Com.

Another member has been fooled... err I mean umm.. told the virtues of what a great game SINS is and as this would be his first game i was hoping we could get a few people together and OWN.. I mean show him the ropes.

I know that I had posted I would not be attending... but I will be attending so GAME ON!

Well it's come across my desk that I have let SINS lay unused and relegated to a dust bin with no chance of return. Thankfully, that is not true!

I am hoping to have a game afternoon on Saturday around 2pm Central Time, I think that's -6 GMT. Since I know a couple of the avid sinners are in the EU. Hopefully anyone who can make it will.

I know this is really sudden and attendance may be low. But never fear atleast this might spread the rumor of a SINS g2g and we can get more people for next time.
