The most pointless state in the union.

West Virginia was admitted to the union on June 20th, 1863 following the 2nd Wheeling Convention, organised by pro-Union separatists against Confederate Virginia. Since seceding from the confederacy, West Virginia has managed to accomplish absolutely nothing remarkable and produce nobody remarkable except for Steve Harvey and that guy that made Super Size Me. West Virginia rivals Idaho in insignificance, and would do the entire nation, and world, a favour were it to reunite with it's far superior sister state, REAL Virginia. This would bring the national state count down to 49, fixing the issue of Puerto Rico or some other territory ruining the tranquility of the number 50, saving time and money that would have been spent on creating, adopting, and manufacturing new flags. Furthermore, this change will cause absolutely no disturbance in everyday life in America, as disturbance implies changing something, and nothing ever happens in West Virginia.
