The developers of Steam's competitor, Desura content distribution network, have announced that they are porting their CDN to Linux.

Who knows, maybe not this group but the competition will push Valve to make Steam accessible for Linux-based OSes users...

Finally! Our group membership count has reached 2000! Even though Valve flatly denied that they are porting Steam to Linux, probably our unity will make them reconsider after all...

Congratulations to everybody! We have more than 1000 members in this group. This is an inmportant milestone and now I DO hope that Valve shall listen to us! ;)
